Do your minutes actually achieve anything?

Minutes can be an active tool to help the meeting achieve something but, all to often, those who chair the meeting don't define the decision or action clearly. In this session, Joanna will show you how to:

• use the ‘action triangle’ to create actions that stand alone so they catch the reader’s eye;
• support the decision/action process right from the agenda stage;
• drive actions forward to completion through good use of the action update (matters arising);
• clarify in the meeting where outcomes are not clearly stated.

After this session the actions you write will improve the effectiveness of the meeting you minute.
