Assisting Yourself to Mental Resilience
Being an Assistant is stressful. The whole world makes demands from all angles, each claiming to be a priority over all others. I use humour and real life examples to explain the ease with which we can all improve our mental resilience and our ability to cope. We may not be able to control our managers or our workload, but we can control how much life’s demands and pressures bother us. I use fun and experience to give Assistants practical tools that they can use to ensure they remain mentally well.
