PA Life returns to The PA Show Spring – join us for two unmissable education sessions

PA Life is delighted to once again be a media partner of The PA Show Spring, the UK’s largest event for the executive support community. Taking place over two dynamic days, the show brings together PAs, EAs and business support professionals from across the country for inspiration, learning and meaningful connection.

A firm fixture in the PA Life calendar, The PA Show Spring is where the profession comes together to share knowledge, discover new solutions and celebrate the evolving role of executive support. Whether you’re focused on career development, wellbeing, technology or leadership, this is the event that sets the tone for the year ahead.

This year, PA Life is proud to be hosting two education sessions on Day 2, led by our editor Marja-Leena Toseland, spotlighting the strategic influence of today’s assistants and the power of professional networks.

At 11:30, Marja-Leena will take to the stage for “Leading Upwards: The Art of Managing Your Executive.” She will be joined by Caroline Barnard, EA at Cambridge University Press & Assessment and the PA of the Year 2025 – Star Winner at the PA Life Awards. Together, they’ll explore what it really means to manage upwards—covering trust, communication, influence and partnership—and why this skill is becoming increasingly critical in senior EA roles.

Following this, at 12:30, Marja-Leena returns for “Empowering Assistants Through Mentoring Networks.” This session will feature both a mentor and a mentee from the PA Life Club Mentoring Programme, offering real insight into how mentoring can accelerate confidence, capability and career progression. Attendees will hear first-hand how structured mentoring relationships can support assistants at every stage of their professional journey.

Away from the theatres, PA Life will also be bringing the festival spirit to the show floor. Make sure you visit Stand D5P, which this year is themed to feel like you’ve stepped straight into a summer festival. PA Life will be exhibiting alongside a selection of trusted supplier partners, and we warmly invite visitors to stop by, say hello to the PA Life team, and meet the partners who support the community throughout the year. Adding to the atmosphere, we’ll once again be hosting a fantastic bar on the stand, courtesy of our friends at Swingers. Known for bringing their fabulous cocktail bar experiences to corporate and private events, Swingers will be on hand to serve up refreshments and show just how easily they can elevate your next event.
