Partners Meeting and Family weekend

This was a quarterly partners meeting on a Thursday / Friday and then spouses and children arrived on the Friday evening for a casual BBQ. We brought in various old fashioned games, hoopla, giant Jenga, connect 4, skittles and families just entertained themselves until late in the evening. We kept track of the children by giving them all fluorescent bands to wear!
As we had adults and 80 children from toddlers to teens to entertain we had to have a lot booked for the Saturday morning: balloon modelling, a magician, ball pits and a football tournament. After lunch everyone went on a GPS treasure hunt around the grounds, with nannies brought in to look after the little ones.
While the guests rested, we dressed the ballroom for the adult gala dinner and then focussed on catering for the children. With 28 nannies we used different areas for each age group with entertainment to suit all of them: photo booths with props, table tennis, bubble machines and a film show. They rounded off the evening with party bags, each one individually planned for each child, whilst the adults danced the night away to an Abba tribute band with the occasional visit to the cocktail bar!
