Fare Forecaster is a powerful and efficient tool for budget planning. Travellers and travel arrangers can search for airfares up to 11.5 months in advance of travel dates to compare the most affordable days to fly and estimate flight costs, avoiding unforeseen events or holidays that might trigger premium prices. 

• See the future with up-to-date flight prices displayed across a 7-day window, saving time on multiple searches.
• Instantly see the days with the highest and lowest fares, with lowest cost flights and dates called out as recommendations.
• CO2 emissions estimates are displayed for all flights, so travellers can easily book the greenest flights on the cheapest day to travel.

Using Fare Forecaster feature, top routes across Europe were 
recently analyzed for potential cost savings. The results 
showed that shifting an itinerary by just 24-48 hours could 
regularly save business travellers upwards of 20%, and in 
some cases up to 50% off flight price.

For Europe, research using the tool showed possible savings 
of 15-36% on flights from London (LHR) to Berlin (BER), and 
7-26% on flights from Madrid (MAD) to Amsterdam (AMS) for 
multiple travel dates across a three-month period.

While not every trip can be moved to a different day, if even a minority of travellers switch their travel dates by just one or two days the savings to an organization’s travel budget will still have a positive impact.
