Rebecca Polson is the Senior Executive Support Manager at Alzheimer’s Research UK, the UK’s leading dementia research charity. Supporting the Chief Executive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, she provides strategic executive support, governance oversight, and operational leadership, helping to drive organisational priorities and enable effective decision-making at the highest level.

With more than 15 years’ experience across the charity, higher education, public and private sectors, Rebecca has built a successful career partnering with senior leaders and navigating complex organisational environments. Her previous roles include supporting executives at the Natural History Museum, the Incorporated Society of Musicians, and the Royal College of Music.

An award-winning Executive Assistant, Rebecca was named PA of the Year 2023 and has been recognised as a finalist in the SecsintheCity PA of the Year Awards. She is passionate about championing the strategic impact of the PA and EA profession and helping support professionals develop fulfilling and influential careers.

Rebecca currently leads and develops a team of Executive Assistants, creating a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and professional growth. She is also an active mentor through PA Life, having been shortlisted for PA Life Mentor of the Year 2025, and is committed to supporting others to build confidence, strengthen their skills and realise their potential.

Known for her organised, strategic and proactive approach, Rebecca is passionate about empowering leaders, developing high-performing teams, and elevating the profile of the PA and EA profession within the charity sector and beyond.
