Nicole Bearne

Nicole Bearne has been at the forefront of Formula 1 for over 25 years and her extensive motorsport experience includes executive and technical operations, internal communications, employee experience and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Between 2007 and 2013, Nicole worked as Executive Assistant to Team Principal Ross Brawn, contributing to the remarkable 2009 season where Brawn GP won both the Drivers' and Constructors' World Championships. This story was captured in the recent Disney+ documentary "Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story."
Nicole then helped secure a record-breaking eight consecutive Constructors' championships as Head of Internal Communications at Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team, working with drivers such as Nico Rosberg, Valtteri Bottas and Sir Lewis Hamilton. She was instrumental in fostering a strong team culture and high levels of employee engagement within the 1,300-person organisation.

Nicole now leads The Comms Exchange, leveraging her F1 business experience and academic knowledge to help organisations build high-performing, people-centric cultures.

Nicole is also a Non-Executive Director of Motorsport UK, the governing body of four-wheel motorsport in the UK.

Nicole holds a Master’s degree in Organisational Behaviour and a CIPR Diploma in Internal Communication. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Communication, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and an Accredited PR Practitioner. Nicole's unique blend of real-world F1 business acumen and academic expertise makes her a compelling speaker and she is frequently invited to present at Internal Communications and Employee Experience conferences in the UK, USA and Europe.
