David Roylance

David Roylance is the Amazon bestselling author of Confidence – How to Have It and Keep It, named as one of the top 40 influencers for women in the banking space by the Women in Banking and Finance Group, CEO of Speak to Shine and Head of Mentorship for Chris and Karene Lambert-Gorwyn’s award winning programme, Passion to Profit for Practitioners.

David excels at helping people get results and has a track record of more than 20 years experience working with FTSE 250 companies, SMEs, entrepreneurs and charities. He was responsible for fast tracking the first woman onto the board of the RBS; and has successfully coached many executives to double their income within one week of his training.
Alongside working with his private clients from across Europe, David has been hired by Barclays, Standard Life and Coutts to work with members of their board rooms, and has delivered staff training at HSBC, Macquarie Bank, Zurich Insurance, American Express, Orange, Aviva and Turner Entertainment.

David began his career as a professional actor and was trained alongside Daniel Craig, Ewan McGregor and Damien Lewis. After working as an actor and Theatre Director, David launched his own Theatre Company touring Shakespeare plays and Christmas pantomime around schools. Fulfilling as this was, David, like most actors, struggled to make money from his talents. It was when he was asked by corporate businesses to use his skills to train their staff how to better present from stage that David found his true vocation.

After working for several different training companies, David experienced the risk that all employees face: his employer went bust. He was left with no income, a large mortgage and a young family to feed. This was when David committed to creating financial security for himself and his family and focused on developing his own business and his own brand, Speak to Shine.

David is now known as Europe’s Smasher of Glass Ceilings and helps his high level corporate clients get promoted to board room positions, typically adding an extra £100,000 to £150, 000 to their income stream.

David is now writing a new book “Be Seen, Be Heard, Get Paid What You Are Worth”, lives in Hampshire with his wife Emma, a fitness instructor, and his children Maisie and Bertie. David also supports the charity MACS, devoted to helping the children and families of children born with no eyes, or eyes that do not grow.
