From Loch Lomond to Rome: A Week in the Life of EnterTec

Scotland. Wales. Bristol. London. Rome. One week, plenty of miles and an even greater variety of projects. From bespoke set production and LED video for a corporate event in Scotland, to planning temporary power in the Welsh mountains - and supplying dozens of channels of radio mics for a major global tech company conference in Rome, it was a week that showcased the breadth of what we do at EnterTec. We’re taking you behind the scenes to show how bringing AV, power, logistics and technical production together under one roof can mean fewer moving parts to manage, and one less thing for busy event organisers to worry about.

While part of the team was in Loch Lomond delivering a corporate event, incorporating a 30sqm LED video wall and bespoke quiz plinths built in our own workshop, others were heading into the Welsh mountains for a site visit to explore multiple technical disciplines needed for a major downhill mountain biking event scheduled for next year. Two very different environments, but the same approach: understanding what’s needed, planning carefully and making sure the technical detail is taken care of.

Meanwhile, in London, we were delivering technical production in a listed building on behalf of our long-standing production customer, at the same time as delivering a seasonal roadshow event for them in Bristol. And further afield, one of our own 18T lorries was making its way to Rome, accompanied by the technical expertise needed to put it all to work. The Rome project involved an impressive 59 channels of wireless audio, selected for its flexibility and encrypted transmission capabilities, alongside PA systems and digital mixers serving multiple rooms across the site. It was a complex audio deployment requiring careful planning, coordination and technical expertise – exactly the kind of detail our clients rely on us to manage.

Of course, none of this happens without a lot of work behind the scenes. While teams are out on site, equipment is being prepared, vehicles loaded, schedules coordinated and technical requirements checked, with preparations already underway for whatever comes next.

It's a varied mix of projects, but one that reflects the breadth of our turnkey offering. From AV, lighting and staging to bespoke set, temporary power and logistics, we bring different technical disciplines together to deliver what each event needs, with one team taking responsibility for making it work.

So, planning an event? Whatever the challenge, let us take the technical detail off your plate - give the EnterTec team a call and let’s talk about what you need.
