On July 24th at 10:42 a.m.—as tens of thousands flocked to San Diego for Comic-Con International and hundreds of others geared up for the 2024 Olympics—TAG's Director of Commercial Justine Liddelow received a call from Paris; Delta Airlines urgently needed help getting four Olympians from San Diego to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) via ground transport to make flights to Paris.
With extremely limited access to ground transport amidst Comic-Con, finding even two vehicles seemed impossible. A new Delta representative eager to make magic happen for her clients leaned on TAG to leverage their long-standing, trusted relationship with dedicated transportation provider, EmpireCLS. Immediately jumping into action, Liddelow called TAG's contact at EmpireCLS—and by 11:02 a.m., they miraculously shifted vehicles around. After prioritising such a challenging request, EmpireCLS made two cars available, and all four athletes were successfully booked for departure to LAX.
