Musical Con is a one-of-a-kind event dedicated to celebrating the world of musical theatre. Held annually at the iconic ExCeL London, this convention gathers theatre enthusiasts from across the UK and beyond to indulge in the magic of musical theatre. The event offers a unique opportunity for fans to immerse themselves in the world of musicals through live performances, meet-and-greet sessions with stars from the West End and Broadway, workshops, panels, and a host of other interactive activities, including our favourite lip sync battle! It's a celebration where the passion for musical theatre takes centre stage, creating unforgettable experiences for attendees. The convention is hosted by the 'Mother of Con' the incredibly talented Shanay Holmes. Shanay is an acclaimed British actor, singer and songwriter and stars as Nancy in a spectacular new production of Oliver! 

The organisers of Musical Con wanted to create an unforgettable experience for fans by introducing the  ‘Stage Door Experience.’ This special feature at the convention was created to allow fans of musical theatre to engage with their favourite stars in a truly memorable way. At the heart of this experience was the opportunity for fans to meet and interact with beloved West End and Broadway performers, collect personalised autographs, and, most importantly, capture these cherished moments through professional photography.

Understanding the significance of these encounters, the organisers wanted to ensure that each fan left with a lasting memento of their experience. The goal was to provide not just a printed photo, but also a digital version   that could be shared instantly on social media, allowing attendees to relive the magic and share it with friends and fellow theatre enthusiasts.

To bring this vision to life, the organisers needed a photography service capable of handling the demands of a high-traffic event like Musical Con. Delivering Unforgettable Moments: Our Role at Musical Con 2022 and 2023

Ghelani Studios was honoured to be entrusted with the responsibility of managing the 'Stage Door Experience' at Musical Con. Our team of skilled photographers oversaw two meet-and-greet areas running simultaneously, each hosting different actors throughout the two-day event. Fans, who had purchased tickets for these exclusive encounters, eagerly awaited their turn to meet their beloved stars, and our team was there to capture every special moment with precision and professionalism.
